Hello Parents & Guardians,
It has been a hectic and amazing start to the 2024-2025 school year. We have the largest student body, 404 students, that we have ever had. This is a new publication that I will try to get out on regular basis so that you will know what is going on with Pathways and your student.
BARK WEEK
Santa Fe South Schools raised over $63,000 for charity during BARK WEEK. Please congratulate your student for helping out with this charitable endeavor. We will have to beat this goal next year.

STUDENT PARKING, DROP-OFF, AND PICK-UP LOCATIONS
Due the increase in student enrollment, OCCC has moved the parking location, drop-off, and pick-up location for all Pathways students.
Parking location: Any Pathways Student that drives to school MUST PARK in PARKING LOT G.
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP location has also been moved to PARKING LOT G.
PARKING LOT G IS ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE MAIN BUILDING
NEW ATTENDACNE SCANNING SYSTEM
We have added a new scanning system for taking attendance. Please make sure that your student has their ID badge with them every day. This badge is part of the required school uniform. If they do not have the badge they will be charged $3.00 to replace their badge.
Reminder of school schedule:
School starts at 8:00 am and ends at 3:05 pm everyday excepts Mondays when it ends at 2:30 pm
Students are expected to be in their seat when class starts. If they are not in the class when class starts they will be marked tardy. If they are more than 15 minutes late they will be marked absent to that class.
3 Tardies = 1 absence & 1 day of Saturday School (8 am -noon)
ABSENSES POLICY: 18 absences, your student will lose their seat in Santa Fe South Schools.

STP Revival
It is time to get our Student/Teacher/Parent (STP) Organization back up and running. We will be hosting a meeting on Monday October 7th to get things rolling again. The meeting will start at 6pm on the Pathways Platform on the 3rd floor of OCCC campus. We will be looking to build our STP Leadership at this meeting.
The STP is a volunteer organization that involves student, teacher, parents, and other citizens in their communities and schools. STP members don’t get paid for their work at schools, and they don’t have to volunteer for events or fundraising. However, anyone is welcome to participate in STP events, and parents can request an explanation of how STP money is distributed.
Family membership to join the STP is $10.00

SUPPORT YOUR SAINTS! We are working on a webpage so that you, YES YOU, can get your SIANTS on. You will be able to order apparel to support your students’ activities. Get some SWAG for yourself to represent your love for Pathways. Please be on the look-out.
