I have been a Teacher at Santa Fe South since 2016, and I currently teach math and video (?? I don’t know the actual titles….).  I love working with these amazing students and teachers.  Before SFS, I taught in Texas, and before that, I was a youth minister in both TX and OK.  I have been married to my wife, Staci, since 2008, and we have three fantastic kids: Josiah, Hudson, and Sybil.  Some of my favorite things are playing guitar, the San Antonio Spurs (my hometown!), videography (I also have a wedding video business), traveling with my family, playing board games, and watching movies.  I also joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard this past spring, and I am training on the East Coast for the next few months.  I’m proud to serve our nation and state.

Dr. Lacey Redfield-Hays

Vocal Music Teacher

Hi, I’m. Dr. Redfield-Hays. I have the honor of serving as the Choir Director at Pathways Middle College. I grew up on a farm in Tecumseh, OK and hold degrees from Rice University (M.M.) and The University of Oklahoma (B.M., B.M.E., D.M.A.). Having worked in numerous cultures with thousands of students at the collegiate and secondary level, I find that the opportunity to further these students’ knowledge of the art of Music will serve them well as they seek to find their place in the world. Fun fact about me: In addition to teaching choir, I am also a professional trumpet player and performed as a soloist with the Sofia Philharmonic in Bulgaria (Europe) last year. I have also held positions in opera houses, musical theater pits, churches, music festivals all over the world, and teach at Oklahoma Baptist University and North Central Texas College. I adore animals and love spending time with the members of DFW Brass and my dogs, Pepper and Toto!

Ms. Michele Manning

English Language Art Teacher/Ambrosius

I have a couple of degrees, and I teach.  I have a couple of grandkids, and I spoil them.I have a couple of thousand former students, and they are ALL still my babies. It is very important to be able to relate to your kiddos/students.  I can relate. The other day a cop pulled me over, and asked for my papers.  I gave him the whole stack of essays from ENG 9, and drove off.
Teaching is awesome.  It’s just like being a rock star: I work hard to keep the attention of a distracted crowd, all my little fans freak out when they see me in public, groupies line up to follow me everywhere, and my name is constantly being called out.  YEAH!
I am a big fan of my country, and it’s military.  I am a big fan of dogs and horses.  I am a big fan of OSU football. I am a big fan of food, therefore I am not small.  Nice to meet you!

Mrs. Xiaoyo Meyer

Chinese Teacher

Math major economics minor, Chinese teacher, M. Ed. in progress, former physician in China. I try to be a teacher in America because I would try to make a difference for my students by my passion and different background. Mr. Michael Stafford

Mathematics Teacher/Ambrosius

I’ve been a math teacher for as long as I can remember. At my age my memory might not be that long but it is long enough. I worked at Pathways for my last ten years before I retired six years ago. For the last six years I have been enjoying retirement. In addition I have been working at the OCCC Math Lab for two days a week tutoring students because I loved working with students so much that I couldn’t give it up. Then this summer I was contacted by Mr. McAdoo and asked to help. Mr Elizondo, one of Pathways’ math teachers, had  National Guard duty and they needed someone to teach for the fall semester. I couldn’t say no to Pathways so here I am. I am really excited to work with Pathways’ students one more time. Getting back to full time is a grind but I should be able to do it for a semester. I have already fallen in love with the students and I look forward to helping the students prepare for their future.

Mrs. Irma Valenzuela

Parent/Concurrent Liaison

Born and raised in Mexico, immigrated to the United States in 1986 as a 17 year old girl, only a few days before turning 18; not speaking a word of English. Determined to learn English I enrolled in High School and thankfully graduated at the age of 21. I have lived in the United States for over 35 years and I love this country. I’ve been married for 24 years now and have 2 girls; Emily and Ayleen. Emily graduated Pathways with her Associates degree last year and Ayleen will graduate this coming May, also with an Associates degree. I’m a really proud momma ♥️ and love my family. The most important person in my life is God and try my best to follow His footsteps. This is my 3rd year working at Pathways. I love my job, I love my students and all my coworkers; we at Pathways are family! I love to be busy all the time. One of my least favorite phrases is: “I’m all caught up!” as a know there is ALWAYS something to do.  One of my favorite phrases is: “Speak kind words, receive kind echoes”. Based on Proverbs 15:1.
