Activity: Journey to the Center of the Earth, Dropping a Glow-stick

Goal: Use quadratic functions to model the height of falling objects.

Tuesday–

Activity: Flying Shirt Task

Goal: Build and interpret functions that represent physical phenomena and other real-world contexts.

Wednesday –

Activity: Catapulting Pumpkins

Goal: Build quadratic functions to model the height of objects that have been launched into the air and interpret their graphs.

SDL 4th Hour

 

Thursday–

Activity: Catapulting Pumpkins

Exponents and Exponential Functions. If student did NOT pass the Unit test, they can retake the assessment before or after school after meeting certain criteria.
